Ongoing Training & Support at ALL Levels

Every booster club in attendance receives extended guidance and support for 60 days following each workshop. For non-TXSBCA or non-affiliated state association clubs, we offer one consultation or support session via email or phone with a trained Booster Club Advisor. TXSBCA member clubs, on the other hand, enjoy unlimited consultation and support sessions year-round, via email or phone, with a dedicated Booster Club Advisor tailored specifically to their group.

Who Should Attend?

Booster Basics Workshop: This 2.5-hour session is intended for booster club officers, parent group leaders, and volunteers aiming to support and enhance the growth of booster clubs and extracurricular programs.

Both workshops are available for in-person and Zoom formats.

Workshop Duration

  • Booster Basics Workshop (In-Person): 2.5 hours, covering up to 4 main topics, with time allocated for an open floor Q&A session.
  • Booster Basics Workshop (zoom): 1.5 hours, covering up to 3 main topics, with time allocated for an open floor Q&A session.

Workshops Schedule

Booster Basics Workshops are offered year-round, with sessions kicking off in the Fall and Spring. Attendees benefit from year-long support, ensuring that booster clubs adhere to district, state, and federal regulations. These workshops focus on implementing best practices to minimize risks, liabilities, and challenges for all involved.

 

Workshop Locations

 

Workshops are available via Zoom or on-site (in-person).

 

On-Site Workshops:

  • School-District Sponsored: Typically held at a school or school district facility.
  • Community-Based: Usually conducted at venues open to the general community.
  • Sponsor-Hosted: Can be held at the sponsor’s location or another venue accessible to the public.
